One of their current projects is supplying the biggest childcare and kindergarten operator in Singapore, which is owned by the government – the Jolly Music programme. Close to 600 childcare centres and kindergartens are using this Music programme.

Edfas Pte Ltd was established in 1989 in Singapore with the focus on providing quality teaching resources/materials to teachers in preschools, primary schools and special needs schools.

They are primarily focussing on Literacy, Phonics, Mathematics, Music and Special Needs – not just selling of titles, but providing a ‘solution’ to the school. From providing a curriculum, selling the necessary resources, to equipping the teachers through training and workshops.

They have a strong and established network with their preschool industry, as their Jolly Music programme has been adopted by the government-owned preschools as their curriculum. They also organise teachers’ seminars and workshops regularly as part of professional development.

Their clientele include preschools and international schools in regional countries such as Indonesia.

Island School is the process of a significant redevelopment. This will include the building of a new school by beginning in 2017. The plans include significant intent to develop 21st century learning environments, which reflect our significant curriculum developments . Island School is part of the English School foundation which manages 22 schools across Hong Kong.
